Holydays in Sicily, off season...
For the next winter I organize following trip:
We drive through Staten roads, regional, provincial ones and we get lost.. sometimes but do not worry, this is an Island !
Already experimented during our winter so mild, enjoy Giardini Naxos along the beach in February and spend the same day on the top of Mount Etna for skiing then a fabulous dinner in Taormina with only Sicilian wine.
We plan the itinerary with you at the arrival, no reservations, there are plenty of Farmhouses, Monastery, Baglio (typical building of Spanish style with a courtyard used in Sicily as wine cellar) B&B, villas, castles, towers.. were to sleep.
And you will drive your own rental car, I know Sicily but don't forget, the adventure is our pleasure, no stress because I am with you to suggest a variety of
opportunities.. seeing women working lace in old villages of the Peloritani mountains, doing almonds pastry in Medieval town, we may assist to the ceramic decorations, we want visit the club of Targa Florio one of the oldest Italian race in the world.
Start to think about, January and February the best period when archeology's parks are all for us, Greek Theaters where you can dream both the "Tragedy" as the gladiator combat, Thermal bathes available for relax and fresh Sicilian food.
Not a car-race, only the pleasure to stop whenever we want or just because sheep's are crossing the road.
